Since the first store opened in 2017, our mission has always been to bring top quality ingredients to every poke served. For this reason the respect and the product care for us it takes on a vital significance.
We are aware that working a delicate raw material such as fish is very difficult, and precisely because we fell in love with it and his biodiversity, we decided to study it thoroughly to become Fish Experts.
Let’s be clear we do not fall in love with the first salmon that passes, indeed to choose the best we have an entire team that checks its origin, color, quality and freshness. In what Fish Experts we make sure it is a sustainable product that does not negatively impact marine fauna.
Dicing everything is our mantra in fact the words “poke”in Hawaiian it means to cut into cubes, but one of the most important phases that precedes it is the filleting! We love to take care of fish respecting it and reducing the amount of waste as much as possible, so much so that we adopt a company policy of “Zero Waste”.
To support the raw material at the time of its maximum freshness, we have become a food tech company, preserving the quality of the fish through liquid nitrogen abatement according to Legislative Decree 110 of 27/01/92. This technique is also called Individually Quick Frozen (I.Q.F) and ensures the preservation of quality, allowing you and us the utmost tranquility and transparency.
We have not become Fish Experts only out of duty towards our customers, but above all for love And passion of our product.
Marine Stewardship Council, also known as MSC, is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to seafood. Its goal is to promote compliance with sustainable fishing practices by assigning the blue label to all products that derive from certified raw materials.
Acquaculture Stewardship Council, also known as ASC, is an independent non-profit organization that sets specific standards on farmed fish products. ASC establishes a rigid certification and labeling system for producers that guarantees consumers the certainty of eco-sustainability and socially responsible practices.
I LOVE POKE obtains MSC and ASC Chain of Custody certification for tuna and salmon from sustainable fisheries and responsible aquaculture farms respectively.
Sustainability for us is more than a trend of the moment. Driven by the desire to innovate, improve and chart a new path to follow, Rana Edwards and Michael Nazir Lewis, our two founders, have made possible a new and important milestone for I Love Poke: to be the first poke chain in Italy. to be able to boast the certification of Chain of Custody under the ASC-Aquaculture Stewardship Council brand, for salmon, and MSC-Marine Stewardship Council, for tuna, which allows you to take a step towards a sustainable choice.
Like I Love Poke, in fact, we are committed to purchasing raw materials that come from certified sources according to the most important international standards for sustainable fishing and responsible breeding. We are convinced that catering must be at the forefront of sustainability by using environmentally and sea-friendly products: a choice that helps raise awareness and educate the final consumer.
At the moment there are 60 ASC and MSC certified stores in Italy, but the number is destined to grow: the blue MSC brand or the ASC brand inside the stores will be the visible element that will easily lead to recognizing the use of salmon. and sustainable tuna.

In our dishes you can find all the macronutrients main ones that are included in any diet or diet. Our pokes have been designed to be composed of 50% proteins, 35% carbohydrates and 15% good fats.
Among our bases you can choose many varieties of cereals such as white, black, wholemeal and quinoa rice! Cereals are very important for our diet because they contain carbohydrates, provide fiber, B vitamins and mineral salts.
Are you more raw or cooked? Here you can find the best selection of salmon and tuna rich in omega 3, or choose for a food cooked at a low temperature such as octopus or shrimp. For a vegetarian option, try the veggie chicken instead or add tofu for your total vegan poke!
